No, My Home Works is designed to meet needs not covered by traditional insurance.

Where are your services available?

In person visits are mostly in the Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Diego County areas with exceptions to be discussed individually. Phone and virtual appointments are additional options for clients outside this service area.

Can I ask my health insurance provider to reimburse me for these services?

No, My Home Works is meeting a need not currently provided by traditional health insurance and is a fee for service company.

How much will this service cost?

Rates vary depending on services, from phone consultation, virtual session, in-person appointments, group classes, and individual assessments. Call, email, or fill out an interest form for a quote tailored to your needs.

How can I schedule an appointment?

What should I have in place for my appointment?

Please fill out and submit an online form prior to our appointment. It is helpful to schedule the appointment when all family and/or caregivers directly involved can participate.

Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your appointment by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to accommodate other clients.

No, My Home Works is looking to fill a gap not covered by insurance by working with individuals in their homes before any life events happen that could make them eligible for in home services that would typically be covered by Medicare guidelines.

Can I use money from my Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for your services?

Services provided by a licensed occupational therapist through My Home Works may be eligible for HSA funds under preventative care, medical care, or medical equipment and supplies. Check your specific plan’s guidelines to verify, as well as to determine if your plan will need any specific documentation submitted. My Home Works will work with you to provide any required documentation.

My Home Works provides a range of services, from consultation for individuals looking for general guidance to in home assessments for individuals looking for more specific assistance or to address issues that have already arisen.
